Transformer reimagines discarded ceramic components salvaged from an electrical transformer into a sculptural exploration of memory, perception, and material value. Once hidden within an invisible industrial system, the serrated fragments are carefully reassembled through a quiet process of stacking, where thin wooden separators introduce rhythm, balance, and pause. Carrying traces of wear and past function, the piece shifts attention toward the overlooked beauty of industrial remnants, transforming associations of power and machinery into an object rooted in fragility, stillness, and contemplation. More than an act of functional transformation, the work becomes a meditation on reclamation, perception, and the meaning we assign to forgotten materials.
