Discarded construction waste is reimagined as tactile landscapes of memory, material, and human interaction. Created by artist Hiloni Sutharia of HSC Designs using reclaimed concrete and fragments sourced from architectural sites across Ahmedabad, each piece carries traces of the city's layered histories, life cycles, and evolving urban narratives. Through terrazzo and mosaic surfaces inspired by natural growth patterns, movement, gathering, and childhood memory, the installations transform debris into expressive forms that invite touch, pause, and interaction. Balancing craft, sustainability, and sensory experience, the work proposes a regenerative approach to design - one that reconstructs not only material, but meaning, memory, and our relationship with the built environment.
